Making Articles With 750 Words Each

If you are thinking of advertising your business, an idea which has always worked well, is the writing of short articles with 750 words each. It's one of the best ways to use "content" to promote yourself. Articles are written for two reasons, one to inform and another to sell. You may choose to promote yourself, or your product. Or both.

Writing about someone else's product is not usually considered a "advertising" technique. However, if you are selling a service such as legal, for example, you need to make sure you give people a reason to buy. Think about it. There's nothing worse than reading through an advertorial and coming away with the feeling that the stuff you are being sold isn't worth the paper it's printed on. So people need a reason to pay.

Advertorial works in much the same way. You have the writer write an article about something you want to promote, and you place it on a web site or two, which gets people to visit. People then read the article and either visit your site, or they come back later (which is what you'd like). But the key to success is to use the right kind of article.

Using articles to get traffic isn't a "one-off" process. It needs to be ongoing. Write more as time goes by. Try to diversify your material. Don't just replicate the adverts you see - try to come up with original material. You will be surprised how successful you can become, if you stick at it.

There are many different ways to use articles to get targeted traffic. One of the most popular is called "affiliate marketing". You write an article about a particular topic, in this case "make money online", and use some sort of affiliate link in it (either in the text, in the resource box, or both). If people click on these links, you earn a commission.

You don't need to be a computer geek to do this. It is also very cheap to do, and very easy to get going. You don't even have to have a website or anything to start. All you need to do is to write interesting, useful, informative articles about whatever it is you want to promote. Then submit them to article directories, and you can start earning money very quickly. And it all starts with just one, simple link.

You should concentrate on quality over quantity. It is very tempting to just pump out a few articles, hoping that they will get a few clicks, but this won't give you the results you want. Try to write informative, useful and relevant articles that are closely related to the theme of the page you are promoting. This way, it will attract people who are looking for the information or the product you're promoting.

Once you get the basic site set up and running, you can start using keywords to promote your articles. Don't just stuff your whole site with keywords though; use them sparingly, to point to specific pages on your site. Use the keywords in the title of your article, in the first paragraph, and in the body of the article. Search engines will pick up on this and will also index your pages.

There's no point in having a site about gardening if people don't buy the plants you have for sale. So be sure to include a link to the pages on your site that actually sell the products you're promoting. Don't forget to include your own website address in every link that sends readers to another place. Doing this will help your SEO (search engine optimization) and will ensure visitors to your site find what they need, when they need it.

Another thing you need to remember is that search engines will rank your articles according to the number of times they are used. So try not to use the same article multiple times either on your blog or in your site. Article directories often charge a fee for every use of their material, so if you want to get your articles used as much as possible, don't use them more than once. Make sure your site is always fresh and doesn't look like it has been put together yesterday. Your audience will appreciate the refreshing content and they will visit often.

If you want to use articles in your marketing campaigns, you can go back to the drawing board and come up with new ways to get the word out about your business. One idea is to create a newsletter that gives all visitors a download or PDF of your material. The download will let them know where to find your articles as well as let them use your links in your signature line when they signup to your list.
